Abstract

Este trabalho retoma os principais aspectos da "Teoria crítica da evolução social" e da "Teoria da ação comunicativa" de Jürgen Habermas, interpretando as suas contribuições com o objetivo de definir bases e princípios do que poderia ser uma ação política concreta que contribua para a democratização da sociedade e da educação. Estes princípios servem de base para uma proposta de estabelecimento de princípios norteadores de uma nova política educacional no Brasil, mais democrática e comprometida com a democratização da educação brasileira, tanto do ponto de vista pedagógico quanto do ponto de vista da estruturação e da gestão da educação.
