Abstract

A universidade brasileira, de forma geral, tem-se mostrado incapaz de equacionar o problema da formação de professores. Propomo-nos refletir sobre as idéias e as ideologias que deram forma aos projetos de criação dos cursos de licenciatura no país. Tais cursos surgiram nos anos 30, no âmbito de algumas das nossas experiências universitárias mais significativas. Damos especial destaque às experiências da Universidade do Distrito Federal, da Universidade de São Paulo e da Universidade do Brasil.
