O artigo analisa a trajetória de um conjunto de pré-escolas particulares surgidas entre meados dos anos 70 e início dos 80, na cidade de São Paulo. São apresentados e discutidos aspectos da história das pedagogias desenvolvidas nessas experiências e a sua relação com elementos relativos ao contexto político, social e cultural do período em que surgiram até meados dos anos 80. Na análise, ressalta-se o papel que nelas teve a mudança cultural que se vem processando no Brasil há cerca de três décadas e vincula-se essas pedagogias ao que, no período, era chamado de "alternativo".Downloads
