Abstract

Este trabalho constitui versão modificada de uma comunicação apresentada no Seminário Internacional de Sociologia da Educação realizado na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, em setembro de 1984. Agradeço ao Prof. Dr. Cândido A. da Costa Gomes. Coordenador do Seminário, a autorização para divulgá-la antes da publicação do livro que reunirá as comunicações então apresentadas.
