Abstract

A versão preliminar deste texto foi elaborada para o Projeto Quinta em Debate, promovido pela Secretaria de Estado de Educação em Minas Gerais, Centro de Recursos Humanos. Realizado a 9 de agosto de 1984, o debate permitiu a identificação e o aprofundamento de algumas questões que foram acrescentadas na versão aqui publicada.O título do trabalho foi sugerido pela prórpia Secretaria da Educação.
