L’état, la politique éducative et la privatisation dans les contextes post-coloniaux

Cet article propose une contribuition théorique à la compréhension des origines et fonctionnement de l’État à l’aide d’une recherche sur les intersections entre mondialisation, privatisation et éducation en contexte postcolonial. L’étude, basée sur le Honduras, est le résultat d’un projet plus vaste qui inclut l’analyse des informations recueillies lors d’entretiens approfondis avec des acteurs clés du domaine de la politique éducative, l’examen des sources historiques, ainsi que de la littérature théorique sur la politique éducative globale, l’économie politique, la théorie du système-monde et les études postcoloniales. L’“ethos de la privatisation” est défini comme une forme de privatisation inhérente à l’État postcolonial qui renvoie au fait que le profit privé est la logique qui guide fonctionnement du système.
