A partir de uma crítica sobre as relações entre as novas tecnologias e a educação o ensaio propõe uma análise estrutural e relacional das conexões entre trabalho e educação. Argumenta-se aqui que grande parte dessas pesquisas tende a apresentar um quadro demasiadamente otimista das modificações introduzidas pelas novas tecnologias no processo de trabalho, além de propor reformas educacionais baseadas num modelo liberal de oferta-demanda. Essas pesquisas são ainda criticadas por sua visão substancialista e essencialista das modificações introduzidas pelas novas tecnologias. O ensaio tenta desenvolver um quadro alternativo de análise centrado nas relações estruturais entre trabalho e educação. Uma tal análise demonstraria que as novas tecnologias na realidade deixam intocada a divisão social entre trabalho mental e trabalho manual.Downloads
