Abstract

Este artigo compara o ensino de educação sexual nas instituições educativas, uma em Novo Hamburgo (RS, Brasil) e a outra em Santiago de Cuba (Cuba). Elencam-se contribuições para compreender a educação sexual, especificamente ancoradas nos pressupostos teóricos emergentes dos estudos culturais, assim como em alguns estudos atuais. Apresentam-se resultados qualitativos obtidos nas entrevistas com diretores e docentes das escolas pesquisadas.
