Abstract

Neste trabalho pretendemos colocar algumas das fundamentações metodológicas da Técnica Q desenvolvida por William Stephenson. Esta colocação será sumária uma vez que esta metodologia tem se prestado a infindáveis discussões pois envolve questões de filosofia da ciência e uma abordagem estatística específica. Não poderíamos, de modo algum, esgotar estas questões num artigo. Esta técnica nos parece de emprego particularmente rico nas ciências humanas dada a peculiaridade de algumas de suas premissas eu dão a este instrumento uma flexibilidade grande em relação tanto a conteúdos a serem examinados como a própria coleta de informação que pode ser feita mesmo com um caso singular. Stephenson e outros têm utilizado a Técnica Q sobretudo na área de estudos psicológicos. Nós estamos utilizando este instrumento na área educacional, tendo, para tanto, construído um conjunto de itens para a avaliação da percepção da função do Assistente Pedagógico ( PF-AP).
