Estereótipos em relação a papéis sexuais na Colômbia

Abstract

Este trabalho relata dois estudos realizados na Colômbia sobre estereótipos de papéis sexuais. No primeiro, uma tradução do questionário usado por Rosenkrantz foi aplicada a alunos e alunas de 2º grau e universidade e a pais e mães de estudantes. O segundo pesquisou o desenvolvimento de estereótipos de papéis sexuais em meninos e meninas de 10 a14 anos, de 3 grupos com situações familiares diversas: um vivendo com os pais naturais, um que havia ingressado recentemente em uma instituição governamental para crianças sem pais e outro vivendo em lares adotivos. Um instrumento foi especialmente construído e validado para esta pesquisa. Os dois estudos demonstraram que em termos gerais os colombianos são semelhantes a outros grupos na percepção de papéis sexuais, apresentando, ao mesmo, algumas diferenças sugestivas.
