Abstract

Esse artigo representa um breve estudo sobre as propostas e realizações educacionais do Movimento Operário na Primeira República (1889-1930). O autor relata idéias e os feitos pedagógicos das três grandes correntes do Movimento Operário do período inicial da República: socialistas, libertários e comunistas. A idéia central do texto é recuperar o esforço histórico das camadas trabalhadoras no sentido de resistirem à ideologia dos grupos dirigentes.
