Abstract

Com a publicação desta primeira versão sobre a vida e obra de Ercília Nogueira Cobra espero desencadear novos estudos e receber críticas e sugestões no sentido de ampliar e aprimorar este trabalho. Parte da pesquisa foi financiada pela Fundação Ford, 3º Concurso de dotação de bolsas de pesquisa sobre a mulher da Fundação Carlos Chagas, inclusive a minha viagem a Caxias do Sul. Quero agradecer, também, a Marlyse Meyer e Zulaiê Cobra Ribeiro pelo insentivo e a Erich Gemeinder pela generosidade, ao proporcionar-me a consulta de vasto material em sua biblioteca.
