Resumo

Este artigo pretende investigar em que medida a teoria das representações sociais pode definir e explicar os processos de ensino e de aprendizagem, uma vez que tais fenômenos foram, até o momento, na maioria das vezes, investigados e explicados com base nas teorias psicológicas de desenvolvimento e cognição. Acreditamos que menos atenção tem sido dedicada à explicação do ensino e da aprendizagem humana, por exemplo, baseada na análise etnográfica, sociológica ou psicossocial. Neste texto, pretendemos refletir sobre o papel que pode ser desempenhado pela teoria das representações sociais, particularmente pelos fenômenos da subjetividade e inter-subjetividade, na formação dos processos de ensino e de aprendizagem humanos.
